Patriotic Military Layout for The Robin's Nest

Eureka Stamps Blog Hop, click here!

Welcome to

The blog has so many great posts with great ideas on what to do with their products and different things you can make.

Here is my post for my design team day at the Robin's Nest!
Make sure you check out their actual blog!
There is a page map challenge on there as well!

I am so excited to be a new member of the team. The Robin's Nest has the best products ever. I hope to keep the creativity coming beyond my own expectations for the next 6 months!

My husband served in the Army for six years and has been to many great places. The question I always get is, "when are you going to start on my album?" I realize that I have only completed one page in our 13 years of marriage.

I now have a reason to start a new page for it. I have the best stuff from The Robin's Nest to get it started and give me the inspiration to want to begin. I'm even more inspired now that the 4th of July has just passed and has renewed my feelings of patriotism.

I cut off part of the Furling Flag paper and adhered it to the Glitter Blue Stars Border paper and shifted it to the right so that you can see the blue stars.

I then took two of the pictures and made mats out of the Tulip Wheels Paper. I flipped it over since it is double-sided to get the double mats.

The "I Love USA", "flag" and the "tag" all come from the USA Stickers.
I adhered the tag to a piece of card stock so I wouldn't need to stick it to the actual page so it could come off easily to be journaled onto. It has no journaling yet because I feel that should be done by my husband who was originally there during these pictures after he finished basic training.
There are still many stickers left for later use.

Then cut out the Statue of Liberty from the Lady Liberty Paper and there are plenty left on there to use for later pages if needed.

Afterwards adhered the little picture to textured cloth and put a cute silver star clip on it as well as the tag. I then figured where everything would be best suited on the page and adhered it all down.
The tag is the only thing that isn't adhered to the page, only the clips holding it.
And then used the patriotic dew drops as a space filler since I LOVE LOVE LOVE dew drops.

Supplies:
USA Sticker
Stars RN Paper Clips
Liberty Dew Drops
Dew Dew Glue
Robin's Nest Textured Cloth

I hope you enjoyed!
Please stop by The Robin's Nest Store and make sure to pick up some dew drops also while you're there. You won't regret it, I promise.
