Jens Digi Stamps Challenge

This weeks challenge is called "Anything but a card"

I decided to make a bookmark.
I didn't put ribbon or anything in it like most do because I was giving it to my son and he's 10 and hard enough to please as is. I don't want him having the impression I'm trying to girly him. :)

Now here is my project:
I just love this bee digi stamp!
I colored it with copic markers and then used stickles on the wings.
After that I rounded the edges.
Then adhered to yellow bazzill cardstock and used Tim Holtz (vintage photo) Distress Ink.

I gave it to my son who at first gave me a funny look but when I put him to bed I saw that he had it in his book. I also explained how I made it bigger than normal so he could turn it sideways to read line by line in his books if he would like.

I hope you enjoyed my project as well as the others that have been done for the challenge.
